New accounts start with welcome credits that cover your first page.

Only upload photos of yourself or people who agreed to appear. Photos of public figures are not accepted. Credits are returned if a page fails.

This tool redraws your photo as clean outlines on a white background, with no shading or color fill, so every area is ready to be colored in with pencils, markers or paint. It is a new drawing of your picture, not a filter that traces edges, so lines close up properly and small clutter is tidied away.

Each page is generated with GPT Image 2.5 at 1K resolution and costs 3 credits. The welcome credits on a new account cover your first page, so you can try it before adding credits. You need to sign in to create a page, and your photo stays in the page while you sign in.

How to turn a photo into a coloring page

  1. 01

    Upload a photo

Choose one JPEG, PNG or WebP image. A clear subject with a simple background turns into the cleanest line art.

  2. 02

    Pick a line style

Kids gives thick lines and large shapes. Simple keeps a clean outline, Detailed adds fine texture, and Cartoon redraws the photo as a cartoon.

  3. 03

    Download or print

Compare the original with the line art, save the image, or open the print dialog with the page size already set to A4 or US Letter.

Choose a style: Kids, Simple, Detailed or Cartoon

Kids suits young children and first-time colorists: bold outlines, big areas and a stripped-back background. Simple is the everyday choice for pets, portraits and family photos.

Detailed keeps more of the photo, including fur, leaves and patterns, as fine lines for older children and adults who like a longer coloring session. Cartoon exaggerates the proportions for a playful, hand-drawn look.

All four styles use the same photo and the same price, so if a page comes out too busy or too sparse, try the same photo in another style.

Print at A4 or US Letter

The print buttons open your browser’s print dialog with the paper size and orientation set for the page, and only the line art on the sheet. Choose “Save as PDF” in that dialog if you want a PDF instead of paper.

For the crispest lines, print at 100% scale on plain white paper. The page is generated at 1K resolution, which is sharp enough for a full A4 or US Letter sheet.

Turn portraits, pets and family photos into line art

Portraits and family photos work best when faces are large, well lit and looking toward the camera. The redraw keeps the pose and the main features, so the page still feels like the person in your picture.

Pets, toys, houses and landscapes are easy subjects. For a busy photo, such as a crowded room or a street scene, choose Detailed to keep more of the scene, or crop to the part you want to color first.

Birthday photos, school projects and holiday pictures all make good pages. Make one page per photo and print as many copies as you need.

Credits and your results

One coloring page costs 3 credits; the price and your balance are shown before you confirm. If a generation fails, the credits are returned automatically. Finished pages are kept in your private history.

Tips for better results

  • Use a sharp photo where the main subject is large and well lit.
  • Plain or uncluttered backgrounds give cleaner, more colorable lines.
  • Pick Kids or Simple for young children; busy photos work better with Detailed.
  • Upload photos of yourself or people who agreed to appear. Photos of public figures are not accepted.
  • If a result is too busy or too sparse, generate again in a different style.
